My Grandma Patricia, loves to play this type of game, In fact, if I recall correctly, I learned how to play it at her and Grandpa Richard’s house with all my teen-aged aunties and uncles. I loved this game as a kid because I loved to draw. I don’t know what Grandma Patricia called it, but I call it “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes.”
This fun game for all ages requires paper and a pencil for each person.
Give each player a piece of paper and have them fold the paper paper in thirds crosswise (hamburger).
Have players draw a head on the top fold of the paper. Have them give their head a first name
Turn the paper to the middle fold. Mark where the neck should be.
Each player passes their paper to the player at their left. Each player draws a torso on their new page. Give the torso a middle name.Turn the paper to the bottom fold. Mark where the legs should be.
Each player passes their paper to the player at their left. Each player draws legs on their new page. Give the legs a last name.
Each player passes their paper to the player at their left. Everyone opens their paper to see the silly person you all made.
Keep passing papers till everyone has seen every silly person drawn.
This is a lot of fun and reminds me of a story game that's similar. Do you know which one I mean?
ReplyDeleteNope. Which one do you mean?
ReplyDeleteI'll bet Cassandra knows. I think she used to have us play it at your house.
ReplyDeleteOh, do you mean the one where you write a phrase and the next guy illustrates it and then the next guy gives the illustration a caption without looking at the original phrase, and then the next guy illustrates the caption not looking at the previous words and pictures, etc?? That's such a fun game!
